It is located on the west side of Chicago-Illinois, is one of the well-defined community areas in city of Chicago. The program consists of mix of low- and high-rise housing of a minimum of 330-400 units of varying sizes and types. The low- and high-rise buildings are developed by studying data of the site and social characteristic of the district.

The bulk of the low-rise is placed along the east side of the site and as well as north of Fillmore Street. The high-rise is placed on the south side of the site by being consistent with the existing pattern of having higher density buildings along Roosevelt Road and by taking advantage of views to Douglas Park to the south.

Both the low-rise and the high-rise are oriented primarily to the south with also secondary views and light from the east and west. Due to the strong presence of community life in the district, outdoor courtyard spaces shared by small groups of units are formed in order to provide opportunity for social gathering and interaction.
